What would you think if I told you an 81 year old woman with Alzheimer's was able to get her mind back and in fact pass her driver's test again?

I bet you think I was crazy.. No way you would say.

Well you have to understand that medicine "does not" have all the answers and unfortunately fails to really seek to find the underlying causes of many diseases and that includes Alzheimer's.

I wish I could say otherwise but the facts are the facts. Most traditional physicians have a set of clinical rules they are required to follow and these clinical protocols or clinical algorithms rarely if ever include the other side of the peer reviewed medical literature which shows key probable causes of many diseases.

As for Alzheimer's there is growing supportive evidence of essential nutrient deficiences and biochemical abnormalities that once treated have seen these elderly folks reverse their dementia and see a return of their memory.

I bet you haven't been told that before.

Most traditionally thinking physicians tend to follow the standard clinical protocols and give a lot of expensive prescription drugs into a body chemistry that is already deficient. Of course this in turn brings on an avalanche of symptoms before they die.

If you or someone you love has started going downhill with dementia, at least do a trial of the sublingual B12 in the form of Methylcobalamin 5mg and Folixor 5mg as well as two N-acetyl-l-cysteine NAC and/or glutathione in the form of 800 mg Liposomal GSH or Recancostat

Although the above appears to be quite simple, it is worth giving a try.

The one important thing to remember is to not give up and simply accept that "everything" has been done.

I am going to be bold and say if your loved one's doctor has not recommend ordering a test called the ION test from Metametrix then everything has "not" been done.

This is a life-changing test and can help identify biochemical abnormalities that may indeed be at the root of your loved one's diminishing brain function.

At the very least these folks should have a trial of the above recommended nutrients, for this just may well be the very thing that turns around their brain loss.

Functional medicine embraces the totality of the regulatory functions of the body.

It encompasses all of the biophysical, biochemical, enzymatic, endocrine, immunological, and bioenergetic regulatory capacities.
