Welcome to the HealthForward Online Blog. My name is Russ and my mission is to promote natural health. HealthForward Online is about sharing information that you can use to help yourself make better decisions about your health. HealthForward Online encourages people to become informed about all aspects of health, weather it be Detox, Nutrition or exercise.
I believe in three tiered pillars of health. 1) Remove 2) Replenish 3) Restore. Remove is for removing the bad things in your life and body that are keeping your body from homeostasis, that is to say that the body can heal itself when the obstacles to healing or stressers are removed. This can be done through detoxing or even through removing the bad food, from your diet, that contributes to a burden on your body. Replenish is about consuming the right foods, water, air and sunshine to give your body the full circle of proper ingredients to bring your body to it’s optimal state, again homeostasis. Eating a balanced diet that’s 100% whole foods. Whole foods are those that come from the farmer not from a factory. I like how Jack LaLaine says it, “If man made it, I don’t eat it.” Restore is about enjoying the results of all the previous steps. The dictionary describes restore as to bring back to an original condition or to put (someone) back in a former position. To me this means to put our self into the position of complete health, like it once was.
I encourage you to become your own health advocate. Find out what your options are and decide for yourself what steps you should take to achieve homeostasis and complete happiness and I pray that God will be a part of that decision as well.
